Meet Jahan Ara!
Jahan Ara was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya and made the move to Vancouver, British Columbia in 2002, just in time to complete her final years of high school and pursue post secondary education.
She graduated with a Degree in Economics and a Post Degree Diploma in Accounting from Simon Fraser University and the University of British Columbia, respectively.
After that she gained professional experience in numerous roles in the banking industry, administration and accounting.
Her purpose in life shifted and she felt called to start her own home-based business focusing on what she loves to do the most.
She particularly enjoys freeing up time for her community of clients, which consists of a mixture of small and medium sized Canadian businesses and individuals. This then gives them room to breathe and focus on priority and preferred tasks in their business.
She resides with her husband, two children and two dogs in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Mackenzie Bookkeeping Corp. takes ownership of the batches of paperwork provided and creates electronic paper trails, reconciles transactions and gets the internal bookkeeping ready for year end processing.
With 10+ years of experience in Full Cycle Bookkeeping, Jahan Ara's goal is to make your day-to-day tasks less cumbersome. She looks forward to forming working relationships with you that adds immense value to your life and business.
